Arts Alliance of the White Mountains

The Arts Alliance of the White Mountains (AAWM) promotes building and enriching a creative community through programs and activities that support the visual, performing and media arts. We recognize that interest and support for the arts benefit a community culturally and economically.

The Arts Alliance of the White Mountains (AAWM) provides a gallery filled with the creative work of local artists ranging from watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings, to handcrafted jewelry and woodwork, to collage, ceramics and mixed media projects.

The organization offers classes, workshops and other opportunities for artists and authors to gather and exchange ideas, tips and feedback. This includes a free weekly "Art with Friends" day, a twice monthly writer's workshop, a monthly Healing Arts group and we've introduced a new series entitled "Playtime for the Soul" for those who may not consider themselves artists but want to create. We also offer a monthly Cork and Canvas event with musical entertainment and refreshments as a way for locals to socialize and be surrounded by wonderful art.
