Arizona Heart Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the fight against cardiovascular disease through professional education and public awareness.

Arizona Heart Foundation offers educational programs such as cardiac ultrasound; vascular ultrasound; cardiovascular nursing specialty as well as several specialty review classes throughout the year.
We also are planning to announce our Cardiovascular Initiative which will have 2 prongs: the first will be a research study for 18-35 years (minimum of 50 participants) which will follow these individuals through educational efforts, screening programs and data collection for one year. Our hypothesis is that through intensive education and screening, the population at risk for Diabetes and Cardiovascular disease can be shown to lower their risk; the second prong is educating families with children 8 years and older who are have a family history of Diabetes. We will show how again how education and screenings along with data collection can greatly reduce obesity in this age group as well as their risk for disease in the future.
