An estimated 42 million people in the US are diagnosed with some form of movement disorder, and there are far too few trained physicians to provide the specialized care this massive subset of the population needs. PMD Alliance's support and education for those with a diagnosis, their loved ones, and their healthcare providers is essential to bridging the care gap and ensuring the Parkinson's and movement disorders (PMD+) community can live fully.
