G.E.M. Environmental is a 501(c) 3 scientific charity headquartered in Prescott, Arizona. We work with government agencies to conserve public lands, while connecting underserved STEM students to integrated and collaborative educational programming. We are supported by local partnerships, grants, and generous donors.
VISION: Create a community of learners enriched and engaged through STEM education.
ACCESSIBILITY: We believe that science is for everyone, thus experience within the STEM fields should be made broadly accessible to people from all walks of life, regardless of age, race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or socioeconomic status.
COLLABORATION: GEM Environmental welcomes partnerships with community institutions and schools that transcend academic disciplines and the boundary between campus and gaining career experience within the community. Click here to learn more about our current programs and how you can partner with us.
CONSERVATION: We are actively engaged in the conservation of public lands by providing data collection services, environmental monitoring/ maintenance, and remediation/ site clean-up for abandoned and potentially hazardous mining sites. All projects and closures are completed with the assurance of wildlife and cultural preservation under the direct supervision of environmental scientists who have dedicated themselves to our cause.
SUPPORT: We offer a variety of tiers for sponsorship, as well as matching fundraising opportunities. For an overview of the sponsorships available, please visit: gemenvironmental.org/sponsorship.html
