Mission of Mercy Arizona

We bring doctors to the people! Our mission is to restore dignity and provide healing through Love to the uninsured and working poor of Arizona. We do this by operating six FREE medical clinics throughout Maricopa County, which are staffed by volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists and more. No one should go without basic healthcare, medication and human dignity.

We have served tens of thousands of Arizonans since opening our doors in 1997. Without Mission of Mercy's clinics, our patients would have nowhere to turn.

Thanks to our donors and volunteers, we provide patient-centered, culturally competent, FREE medical care. Our patients are treated with dignity, respect and compassion. They set appointments, meet with their care provider, and receive labs, medications and specialty care. Our patients do not qualify for Medicaid (AHCCCS), but they cannot afford the high cost of private insurance. We believe everyone deserves a chance to be healthy.

Meet Jon. A construction worker, Jon lost his job and his health insurance due to the pandemic. He was able to pivot and become an independent contractor in order to pick up restoration construction work that would cover his essential bills like food and housing. However, it left no room for him to afford the exorbitant cost of independent health insurance. He was losing weight and found out he had developed severe health risks due to the onset of type 2 diabetes. That's when he turned to MOM for help.

"Without an employer paying for my health insurance, and with the cost of living going up over the past few years, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
