Angel Charity for Children, Inc.

The mission of Angel Charity for Children, Inc., is to improve the quality of life for children in our community. This is accomplished through an established program of fundraising for beneficiaries selected annually by the general membership. It is our hope that the community supports the mission of Angel Charity until all the needs of Pima County, Arizona's children have been met.

For more than four decades, Angel Charity has been recognized as the "Halo for Hire" in Pima County. Our generous donors, combined with the support of our volunteer membership, has granted over $32 million to improve the lives of more than one million children. We aspire to continue this legacy by vetting and presenting projects and programs that will earn your support in 2025. Our gratitude goes out to all who have supported our mission over the years.

Angel Charity for Children is a non-profit organization comprised of 250 devoted members representing a cross section of the Tucson, Arizona community. Founded in 1983 by Tucsonans Louise Thomas and Jane Loews Sharples, Angel Charity retired the mortgage and expanded and remodeled the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Arizona. Each year since then, a thoroughly researched, tax-exempt children's agency (or multiple agencies) benefits from the year-round fundraising program. Angel Charity has an all-volunteer membership, with no paid staff. 100% of funds raised through our Capital Campaign/Underwriting supports our beneficiaries.
