Colossal Canine Care

Max is an English Mastiff who had been used as a bait dog for fighting. He was emaciated and his face was covered in scars when he came to us. He was placed in a loving foster home and they were given all the tools to get him healthy (including food, bedding, bowls, medical care, etc.) and they were only asked to give him love. Max soon put on weight and his very loving personality emerged. He only appeared "unadoptable" and just needed a little tender, loving care to prove there really was nothing unadoptable about him. That is what we at Colossal do. We rescue these unadoptables, rehabilitate, resocialize, and rehome them in loving forever homes. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the kill and no-kill animal shelters and, where possible, help keep dogs with their humans.the goal is achieved through education of the public, fostering and adoptions,health and hospice care, transportation, and pursuit of legal remedies for animal welfare violations. CCC needs donations as we are a 100% volunteer organization and 100% of our donations go directly to the dogs in need. These dogs ask for so little and contribute so much to our homes and lives. We need to care for them as they can't care for themselves, so we ask you to step up and prove to them that we deserve the unconditional love they so willingly provide!
