At FSL we take a holistic approach to prepare and embrace individuals to age independently, safely and with peace of mind.

Since 1974, FSL has been addressing the comprehensive health and social services needs of Arizonans - physical, mental, economic, and social well-being - through a variety of programs and services. While our programs and services touch on all of the Social Determinants of Health as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization, we concentrate our focus in three key pillars: Health, Housing and Connection.

• Housing: FSL provides a broad range of affordable housing options for individuals and families in Arizona, including residential behavioral health group homes and specialized programs such as Adult Foster Care and Adult Behavioral Health Therapeutic Homes. We work to ensure everyone has access to safe, stable housing that supports their independence and well-being.
• Health: Our health programs include a comprehensive continuum of care, offering essential services like adult day health centers, assisted group living, senior centers, and community action offices. Additionally, our three food pantries in Phoenix, Peoria, and Wickenburg provide 375,000 pounds of food annually to support community health, serving nearly 750 meals daily to individuals and families across the state.
• Connection: We prioritize combating social isolation through initiatives like ReCreación, which offers respite for caregivers and connection for our clients. Our Friendly Callers program also provides regular check-ins to individuals at risk of isolation. These efforts foster stronger, more engaged communities and provide vital social connections for those in need.
