We envision a world where BIPOC Trans, Two-Spirit, Gender Non-conforming, and Queer folx prosper. We aim to remove barriers to our healing, wellness, and liberation so that in our lifetime, we can witness and live in flourishing, loving, and whole community.

Will you help us make this vision a reality?

We are Kindred Connections Collective (KCC), a Queer, Transgender, Gender Non-conforming, Two-Spirit, and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC) community collective based on the original lands of the Tohono O’odham and Yaqui people (Pima County).

QTBIPOC folx experience marginalization and subjugation complicated by intersecting identities. This is amplified in the Borderlands through a damaging blend of militarized forces, carceral complexes, and white supremacist ideology that targets and endangers our QT/BIPOC kin.

KCC was founded in 2019 by QTBIPOC wellness and public health workers responding to the lack of supportive health and wellness spaces for our community. KCC core members are of local QT/BIPOC communities. Our experiences of survival provide resilience, resourcefulness, and a resource-conscious center. We are committed to a no/low waste and DIY approach in all aspects of programming.

We are a non-hierarchical collective. We strive to embed our work within community-led structures. We prioritize collaboration and working with other QT/BIPOC groups as we know our communities benefit most when we work together to support one another’s goals.
