No More Deaths / No Más Muertes

The mission of No More Deaths is to end the death and suffering of migrants in the Mexico-US borderlands through civil initiative: people of conscience working openly and in community to uphold fundamental human rights.

We have been providing direct aid to migrants in the Arizona borderlands for more than 20 years. Our longstanding projects include:

1. Leaving water and food on migrant trails 
2. Providing emergency medical care to people in distress
3. Maintaining a remote aid camp
4. Operating a Missing Migrant Hotline 
5. Supporting migrant shelters in northern Mexico 
6. Documenting and publicizing abuses at the hands of Border Patrol

Our supporters in Arizona understand better than most how the desert has been weaponized by Border Patrol to harm migrants. Left with no legal options to begin a life in the US, people are forced to cross the borderlands on foot. The border wall funnels them into the harshest and most remote areas where tens of thousands have lost their lives. We know that in this midst of this tragedy of migrant death and suffering, our work makes a difference.
