PACC911 (Phoenix Animal Care Coalition)

PACC911 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings together over 140 animal rescues throughout Arizona, most within Maricopa County. PACC911 unites the rescues, offers life-saving opportunities to work together all for the benefit of the animals.

PACC911 assists our animal rescue partners in the following ways:

1. Large Adoption events all around the valley provide our rescue partners a variety of venues to adopt their animals in a friendly and happy environment far more inviting to adopters than some shelter environments which are deemed depressing. Rescues get great exposure and adopters see the animals in a relaxed and pleasant setting where their true personalities can shine. Over 11,000 pets have been adopted thru PACC911 events to date.

2. Fundraising and our Critical Care Program: PACC911 raises funds to help rescue partners defray overwhelming medical costs when saving the lives of those animals who have medical needs due to serious illness, neglect, injuries and sometimes cruelty. PACC911's assistance allows each rescue to save many more animals from shelters, or those abandoned on the streets or deserts. Since the inception of the Critical Care program in 2012, we have dispensed over 3 million dollars to our partners saving upwards of 7000 animals, giving them that second chance at life. Fundraisers, grants, donations and, our thrift boutique, Rescued Treasures , located at 3841 E. Thunderbird Rd, Phoenix all contribute to this program.

3. Pet Food Bank: Our Chuck Waggin Pet Food Pantry helps low -income families keep their animals rather than being relinquished to Arizona's already overwhelmed shelters by providing pet food to them on a regular basis. Chuck Waggin is the only pet food Pantry who provides delivery and we are always in need of delivery drivers!

4. Education: PACC911 partners adopt out only spayed and neutered animals and we stress the need to spay and neuter all animals to the public, to stop the tragic cycle of unwanted pets. This is the only sure way to help minimize the euthanization of the many animals now at local shelters.

Anita Osa: PACC911 and their Critical Care Program has played an integral part in helping Sunshine Dog Rescue save a number of medical dogs. These dogs would otherwise have been euthanized and are now all living happy lives with their new families. Thanks PACC911!
