Yavapai Humane Society

Yavapai Humane Society serves to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of all companion animals in our community.

Yavapai Humane Society shelters and protects over 3,000 homeless cats, dogs, and horses each year. In addition, it provides important programs and services to pet owners in Yavapai County, including stray animal shelter and return to owner services, special treatment and recovery of sick and injured homeless pets, humane education, community outreach of animal welfare, and much more. It also operates a Thrift Store which supports the annual funding at the animal shelter while offering great discounts to the community.
