Actor's Youth Theatre

Actor's Youth Theatre is an inclusive nonprofit arts organization that provides education, entertainment, and a wide range of performing arts opportunities. Our mission is to enrich the lives of all members of the community with quality live theater productions and education resources. Its positive impact brings unity and lifelong lessons for all participants. Our Mission is to Educate, inspire and grow youth to reach their fullest potential on stage and in life.

Actor's Youth Theatre (AYT) has been a part of the Gilbert community for over 15 years. We are an inclusive non-profit performing arts organization with the mission of educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of individuals in the community. Each season, we present 11 shows which have not only entertained audiences, but also have helped thousands of students grow in leadership, poise and confidence. In addition to our high quality productions, we also offer educational classes, workshops, camps, and performance group opportunities.

In the spring of 2019, members of our Glee Performance groups attended a special New York City (NYC) Tour. Participating students raised funds in various ways which taught them the value of the community. While in NYC, they attended Broadway Dance workshops, trained by Broadway professionals. They also attended a Private Broadway workshop, watched the Broadway show and participated in a talk back after the show with the 2 of cast members from Mean Girls. In addition, they attended 2-4 more Broadway shows. This group of students also performed at the Trump Tower and Deck of the Intrepid in New York City. These AYT performers were able to get a taste of being a performer on Broadway and it was an amazing trip for all who attended.

AYT maintains a high standard of excellence while providing participants with a safe, inclusive atmosphere and a learning environment dedicated to implementing positive self-discipline. While encouraging creativity AYT cultivates opportunities to learn all facets of theater and performance for lifelong growth and appreciation of the arts. At Actor's Youth Theatre, we encourage and teach students to be positive, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals. We help them become creative thinkers and problem solvers so they are successful in their journeys wherever their dream leads them.
