To make God known, loved and served by feeding, clothing, and comforting the most vulnerable among us, offering dignity and hospitality to all who pass through our door.
Andre House is a hospitality center for people experiencing homelessness in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1985 by two Holy Cross religious from Notre Dame who came to live in the community and serve in the tradition of the Congregation of Holy Cross and the Catholic Worker Movement, Andre House is the primary dinner service provider for the homeless of downtown Phoenix. Andre House serves 170,000 meals every year and meets the basic critical needs of people experiencing homelessness while demonstrating the love, kindness, respect and dignity that Christ calls us to show to all.
Dinner, clothing, laundry services, showers, blankets, and backpacks are just some of the essential services that our guests who are struggling with homelessness can engage in. Located across the street from the Key Campus (formerly the Human Services Campus), Maricopa County's hub for homeless services, Andre House works in partnership with a network of agencies towards a shared goal of ending homelessness.
