CAMP INNOVATION
While Arizona is seeing robust growth in STEM-related companies and career opportunities, the state’s public teachers are continuing to struggle to provide the level of STEM education needed to equip their students for success in higher education and career pursuits. Too often, limited budgets don’t allow for additional STEM learning opportunities that are hands-on, relevant, and meaningful.
Arizona Science Center’s CAMP INNOVATION program helps to meet this need by providing children with exciting, hands-on STEM experiences during fall, winter, spring, and summer school breaks, along with holidays. With unique STEM themes presented throughout the year, Camp Innovation encourages students to inquire, investigate, and apply STEM through compelling problem-solving challenges and activities.
Offered both in-person and virtual options for students
Camps available for Grades 1-12
Testimonials
"Our daughter has been coming to Science Camps and Girls in Stem events for years. I have attached our daughter’s MAP testing results. This may seem highly unorthodox, but every time we get these test results we think of you and are grateful. One, you deliver information in a place that she loves and in a way that she always seems to be ready to receive. And two, she transfers that love of science into her home school – ready to learn and surprising her teachers with some of her ability to understand concepts and vocabulary." - CAMP INNOVATION Parent
"This is the third time I enrolled my kids in camp and will continue to do so, the instructors are amazing, very aware and the camp is fun and educational, thank you. They said it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a camp!" - CAMP INNOVATION Parent
"My daughter loved their counselor/instructor, she loved going to new sections of the science center, she also really liked lunch and as a parent lunch being provided is a really great benefit of the camp." - CAMP INNOVATION Parent
