Prevent abuse BEFORE it starts!
Unfortunately, not all relationships are healthy. Some may appear perfect at the beginning, but evolve into unhealthy forms of power, control, manipulation, and even physical or sexual abuse.
At BLOOM365, we are dedicated to addressing unhealthy relationships and advocating for youth victims of abuse. Our efforts include:
- Educating teens and adults across Arizona and the U.S. on recognizing and addressing dangerous relationships.
- Providing support through a HelpLine and advocacy services for young victims of abuse.
- Activating peer advocate crews to promote a culture of respect and empathy.
- Intervening early to prevent further harm.
- Training adults to support youth victims, perpetrators, and bystanders in seeking help.
These initiatives work together to create meaningful change and #UprootAbuse in a generation. And your gift can help keep our important work going in Arizona.
BLOOM365's advocates educate over 300 students weekly in Maricopa County high schools and community organizations on healthy versus unhealthy relationships, leading to thousands of students who have witnessed, experienced or perpetrated interpersonal violence seeking and receiving help.
Since our launch in 2006, we have been committed to eradicating abuse and creating a safer environment for all. To learn more about our programs and services, visit bloom365.org.

SENSITIVE CONTENT WARNING: REAL CONTENT
BLOOM365 Advocates respond to requests like these from teens seeking help with issues related to relationship health:
"A friend of mine has been posting pictures with captions such as "life is f***ing awful," "I'm ready to just drop everything." In her most recent Snapchat post she stated that she broke up with their boyfriend who was abusive. The ex-boyfriend replied saying "I don't want your nasty p****." I'm really starting to worry about my friend because she has been going through many tough experiences and is overwhelmed with everything going on. If things don't change she might even consider suicide. It's really sad to see someone who looks so happy outside be consumed by darkness and despair on the inside. Not to mention the immense stress she is under right now. I hate to see her like this. What should I do?"
"I have been in a strange relationship and it ended really bad. The person is now telling me that I'm worthless and should just disappear. I was already suicidal, even before the relationship, but now it's worse."
Our advocates respond to thousands of anonymous elephant in the room questions like these via text/chat/web/Instagram. We help by empowering teens to recognize the signs of abuse and violence and provide them with the tools to seek help or safely refer a friend to help.
BLOOM365's work significantly impacts the community by transforming "wilting" relationship norms to "blooming" and by assuring that teen dating abuse and sexual violence prevention and healthy relationship skill building become a standard in youth education everywhere.
"I was scrolling through old photos and compared one from last year to a recent selfie. I realize how far I have come in just a year. Back then I was always depressed, had anxiety attacks, low self-esteem and thoughts about doing stuff to myself that I would never think about doing today. I am happy, more confident, and think good positive thoughts. I just want to give a shout out to BLOOM365. Thank you all so much for changing my life completely around."
