EAST SIDE ELVES

The East Side Elves provide support and enrichment to our homeless animals in the Maricopa County Animal Shelters and other dogs in need throughout Maricopa County. We provide collars AND leashes for 99% of the adopted dogs prior to leaving the East County shelter.  In addition, we help provide toys, training treats, high value edible enrichment and other high value items to benefit our animals through enrichment while they wait for their forever homes. 

We also provide some assistance to help rescues with funding for medical cases they bring in as well as providing funding for occasional boarding assistance for dogs that are saved from euthanasia at the county shelters.

We believe in assisting community members too that are outside of the shelter environment by providing assistance with food, medication, training sessions, medical grants and occasional end of life needs to ensure there is a peaceful transition to the rainbow bridge.

Since 2017 and with YOUR help/support, we have been able to contribute over $450,000 in support to our shelters, local rescues and community members that need or have needed a hand up for their animals.   

We strive to add spay and neuter clinic opportunities to our outreach as well given that our communities are struggling with pet homelessness and litters of puppies/kittens that are unable to find homes.  

In order to help reduce the stray pet population, we ALL need to be proactive.  With your help, let's do our part to make pet homelessness a thing of the past.
