Forever Home Donkey Rescue & Sanctuary Inc.

The mission of Forever Home Donkey Rescue & Sanctuary is to help donkeys in need of rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We focus on providing education and protection from animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect as well as a sanctuary for donkeys that need a forever home. Currently, we have 29 donkeys and 1 mini mule living the remainder of their lives here at our rescue.

In 2023 we celebrate 25 years of providing a loving sanctuary for donkeys in need. Currently, we have 29 donkeys and 1 mini mule living the remainder of their lives here at our rescue. We offer free tours educating our visitors on donkeys, and donkey care and offer guidance for new owners. We attend events to bring awareness and show the community how donkeys played a major role in history. When people visit those same people go to the Benson area, which in turn, brings customers and visitors to local businesses. Since we are an All-Volunteer rescue, every donation dollar goes directly to the care of the donkeys. No salaries or wages are ever paid.
