Our mission is to end euthanasia of treatable, adoptable dogs and cats by through medical intervention, promotion of spay/neuter, adoption and increased community awareness.

We are a true no-kill shelter located at 32nd Street and Shea in Phoenix. We take in dogs from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control because they are most at risk for euthanasia. We take owner surrendered and stray cats. In 2023 we adopted out 494 cats and dogs. In our 15 year existence we have rescued over 7,000 cats and dogs. Each rescue is spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for ticks and fleas. Cats are tested for FIV/Felv and dogs for tick borne illnesses.

In addition to promoting adoptions, we have a low-cost vaccine and dental clinic open to the public. Many times animals end up homeless due to expensive medical costs. We try to help pets stay in their home by offering quality care at an affordable rate. We see many families with multiple pets come through our clinics - families that might not have taken their pets for exams, vaccinations, tests, etc. because of the prohibitive costs.

Testimonials

"A truly caring Rescue that knows each animal's individual needs and works hard to match them with the best adoption situation possible. We support adopters by staying connected and offer support throughout the life of the cat or dog."
