Executive Summary:
The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County, Inc. (JAVC), an established 501(c)(3) Public Charity is seeking funding to continue our Veterans Homeless Transitional Housing Program, Transportation Program, Veterans Stand Downs and Resource Fairs, Outreach Program and Opioid Support Program.  This program provides Homeless and At-Risk Veterans with transitional and permanent housing, group counseling, vocational training and employment. There is no cost to the veteran for any of our services.
The benefits to the Veteran and his/her family are measurable by their stability and growth within the civilian world. With the support that Veterans receive through the Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council, they are able to thrive with a newfound sense of self-pride, purpose and the ability to feel good about themselves again. It's a feeling of belonging that most haven't felt since their time in the military. JAVC's Veterans Outreach Program gives our Veterans back that special family that truly cares.
