Maggie's Place

Maggie's Place provides safe housing and a nurturing community for homeless pregnant women, empowering them to thrive throughout their lifetime.

Maggie's Place currently operates five residential maternity homes (The Gabriel House opened August 2023) and The Mary Apartments, a transitional apartment complex which focuses on family renunciation and DCS case management support.

We opened our doors in May 2000, and now, 23 years later, we have provided services for nearly 1200 mothers and welcomed more than 750 infants into Maggie's Place homes.
Pregnant women experiencing homelessness can come to Maggie's Place at any point in their pregnancy and then live in one of our homes until their baby reaches one year.
We offer our moms a warm and welcoming community, a safe place to live and learn and on-going services to empower them throughout their lifetime

While a mom is living in a Maggie's Place Home they receive individualized support and care including workforce development, counselling, parenting classes and childhood enrichment, health and wellness and educational programming. We meet moms where they are at and partner with them throughout their pregnancy and beyond! We now have Maggie's Place babies in college! Once a Maggie's Place mom exits one of our maternity homes, she is welcomed into our alumni community along with her family where she can access numerous resources from programming to essential items and a food pantry.

Hundreds of Alumni Moms visit our Family Success Center (at 30th st and Indian School) for continued support, encouragement and community.
