Mesa Encore Theatre, Inc.

The mission of Mesa Encore Theatre (MET) is to produce live theatre with integrity and dedication to excellence. We strive to contribute to the cultural experience of our community as well as provide fun and educational opportunities that nurture the talents of local theatre artists of all ages.

Since 1937, Mesa Encore Theatre has offered hundreds of performance and design opportunities for local artists to participate, as well as affordable professional quality live theatre for patrons to attend. In a typical season, we offer a Main Stage season of six productions performed at the beautiful Mesa Arts Center. This season, however, we are reduced to three due to financial limitations and major funding cuts from grant-giving organizations.

In addition, we also offer a series of intermittent Workshops and Classes in a variety of areas i.e. Musical Audition Preparation, Choreography, etc.

We accomplish all of this through the generosity of many volunteers and donations from our patrons and sponsors. We plan to continue offering these opportunities as will as continue growing and venturing to develop more programs to serve the artistic needs of our local theatre community. We need the community's support to ensure we continue; we are at a critical juncture in our community's history. Help us reach Year 90 in 2027!
