Thank you for considering No Kill PC! We are an all volunteer organization helping create and sustain a commmunity that saves all savable pet cats and dogs and community cats. Since 2014, when our volunteers set up a table at at the door of PACC, we have been offering Support Options and Solutions to Keep Animals out of Shelters. Fundraising today continues to support pets and community cats in Pima County with financial assistance for unexpected veterinary needs, a growing need.

No Kill Pima County is a grass roots, community group of committed individuals dedicated to saving the healthy, treatable and re-habitable homeless pets and community cats in Pima County.

Since our inception in 2012 NKPC has supported our community of companion animals and community cats by focusing on strategies and services that reduce the number of animals that enter the shelters, improve the care received in the county shelter and find homes for some of the most vulnerable pets who are in temporary placements at shelters and rescue organizations.

No Kill Pima County works to fill the gaps in our community's safety net to hep save lives. Our work evolves around current needs and over the past 10 years has included:
-Financial resources for pet owners to alleviate temporary situations that may lead to surrender to shelters.
-Savethesaveable Grants for Pima County Rescues to assist in the rehabilitation of pets in their care to help them get adopted.
-Medical support for community cats
-Each One Medical Fund, funding medical services not available at the shelter for vulnerable animals in the county shelter
-Savethesaveable.com, a marketing campaign to bring attention to the most vulnerable homeless pets at our community's shelters and rescue organizations
-Lost Pet Initiative, monthly low cost or free microchip events around the county and personal lost pet support at the most difficult times of the year (eg 4th of July)
-S.O.S. (Support Options and Solutions to Keep Animals Out of the Shelters) an online resource directory available at http://www.nokillpimacounty.org/get-help/
-Public awareness and community engagement

Our community has benefited from a convergence of organizations and individuals working to improve the welfare of shelter pets and community cats. One example is he save rate at the county shelter has gone from 48% in 2012 to 92% in 2021.

No Kill Pima County continues to identify gaps in needed services and policies to save all the saveable shelter pets in our community. With your support we WILL achieve and sustain our goal to have a No Kill community. Be part of the solution!
