"Thank you for the packages and letters that you sent me. And thanks for supporting the military. The US MIlitary needs all Americans to support us in all we do for our country. Your generosity and support are truly amazing and we want to thank you tremendously for choosing our unit to support. Will you please tall all the supporters, volunteers and veterans, "Thanks for everything"? Please accept this, it is not much but shows a dedication of thanks. Continue to support the military, and take care. I will be in Afghanistan until May. Our mail stops 30 days out. So,if you or other volunteers would like to write, please do so, my address is the same and listed below." -SSG L. Posey
"Dear Friends, On behalf of the officers and soldiers of Task Force Panther, thank you so much for the wonderful gifts. We really appreciate it. Since we are at "the tip of the spear", that is the forward most unit in combat, we don't have many luxuries, but your TLC makes our lives a little easier. You truly are making a difference in the lives of our soldiers. We are more grateful than you could possibly know or understand. We are truly humbled by your thoughtfulness and kindness. They remind us that we are appreciated, supported and loved. Few things are more important to us. Perhaps, the only other think which i am hearing from soldiers which is more important, is to know that they are remembered and not forgotten. And we can honestly say, at least back in Glendale, that is true. Thank you for remembering us as we live, work and fight in a distant place far from home. Although I am from northwestern Pennsylvania, if I am ever in Glendale, I will have to stop by personally to thank you for your support and care. Until then, please know that I shall always be faithfully yours," -MAJ D. Etter, MAJ
