Quality Connections

Quality Connection is a Training Center dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers on their journey toward greater independence.  We provide residential and adult day program services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and an array of employment services for a wider population to help people progress toward employment in our community.  We believe that all people deserve a chance to discover their place in the world.  

What started with an Employment Services program, later expanded to include Group Home and Day Program services to provide a holistic support system.  Over the last 25 years, we have continued to evolve, becoming a multifaceted Training Center where all programs are designed to lead individuals toward greater independence.  

Our Group Home services support people as they learn to live as independently as possible.  We have grown our residential services beyond group homes to include 

In-home services help people remain independent in their homes.  We have refined our Employment Services model, expanding beyond the intellectual & developmental disabilities population, now assisting a wider population in overcoming employment barriers.  We take an innovative approach to learning skill building by incorporating the Montessori teaching method into our pioneering adult day program by including a suite of communication development opportunities, including theater, journalism, and music, that engage and motivate each individual to tap into their potential. This program serves as a pathway to employment, equipping participants with the skills needed for successful community employment.  

We have built two successful social enterprise programs that create real-world job training opportunities.  QC Office is a full-service office supply retailer that remanufactures QC Toner printer cartridges, helping keep empty cartridges out of landfills while providing meaningful employment for individuals with barriers. Evergreen Academy Preschool (EAP) is a DES-contracted and licensed Quality First preschool that also serves as a training center where individuals with disabilities gain valuable skills for careers in childcare. EAP has earned a 4.74 out of 5-star rating from Arizona's statewide early childhood agency, exceeding quality standards. EAP provides discounted childcare to QC employees, reducing employment barriers and helping us attract and retain top-quality staff.

As of January 1, 2025, we expanded to Page, assuming operations of Helping Hands agency, a like-minded organization.  Thanks to our dedicated staff’s expertise, services in this region will grow, including rebuilding employment programs impacted by the pandemic.
