Sounds of the Southwest Singers, Inc.

The Sounds of the Southwest Singers, Inc. (SSWS) is known for providing an all-encompassing and unforgettable choral experience for our audiences and performers. We endeavor through innovative means to enable the listener and participant to feel the passion and experience the music we present. Our vocal skills provide a strong educational foundation of the cultural arts for our performers, audiences, and patrons of the SSWS.

We have two adult choir groups from Glendale, AZ serving our north Valley communities. The Sounds of the Southwest Singers, founded in 2010 and are a 150+ volunteer choir who perform year round throughout the valley. We sing a variety of musical styles, from pop-Broadway, to sacred, Patriotic and holiday favorites. No auditions or fees are required and the SSWS is open to everyone who loves to sing.
Our second choral group is the Sounds of the Southwest Chorale, (SSWC), this group is smaller, with a maximum of 40 members. The Chorale, founded in 2015, performs a more traditional classical repertoire. The Chorale is open by voice assesments and there is a nominal honorarium per session, Fall and Spring. We perform four to six times a year. Both choirs are directed by volunteer founding director Matt Deller.
