Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson

To provide educators with hands-on interactive learning materials for use in their classrooms through donated and re-purposed items, as well as for raising funds to support this purpose.

Our organization gives critical and enhanced supplies and materials to any teacher in Southern Arizona for free or at reduced costs. This support allows teachers to deliver a hands-on & enriched learning environment to their students. These supplies are donated by the public because they share our values and environmental concerns. By repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill we have a win-win outcome! Teachers win, community members & businesses win and the environment wins. Given the current budget and financial cutbacks in education, we are bridging the gap to provide tools that support learning. Kids are our future. We give them the tools that they need to be successful in life and school.

The dual mission of getting teachers the supplies they want for their classrooms and that they repurpose many items that would otherwise end up in the landfill is just brilliant! This should be in EVERY community but thankfully it is in Tucson!
