Verde Valley Humane Society Inc

The Verde Valley Humane Society exists to humanely care for unwanted, lost and abused animals; and to promote animal adoptions and welfare through its policies and presence in the community.

The Verde Valley Humane Society provides shelter and care for homeless animals throughout the Verde Valley and Yavapai County. We take in approximately 1,000 animals each year.. VVHS practices socially conscious sheltering by adhering to guiding principles that facilitate the best outcomes for the homeless cats and dogs in our care. Each adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, Rabies shot, Flea/Tick/Worm treatment, and a free post-adoption exam at local participating veterinarians.

We are a private, non-profit 501(c)3, and rely heavily on tax-deductible donations from kind individuals and businesses like yourselves, sponsors, and fundraisers to help us continue to provide safe refuge and the highest quality care to our homeless pets. Together, we can strive to build a community where all animals are cared for without the risk of being homeless or unwanted.
