The mission of Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation is to enrich the lives of current and former foster youth and support the work of the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program.

Yavapai CASA for Kids foundation has 9 programs designed to meet the needs of the over 400 current and former youth in Yavapai County. These programs include but are not limited to:

1. Grants for Kids: This program covers the costs of a foster youth's emergency needs and the items/experiences that contribute to a well-rounded childhood and adolescence, when those costs aren't covered by the state or other sources.

2. Emergency Cards: This program provides foster youth with emergency funds for clothing, food, and other emergency needs immediately unpon removal from their homes. Many foster youth enter the system with hungry and with just the clothes on their backs. This program ensures they have those basic needs met.

3. Supplemental Cards: This program supplements the $150 the State of Arizona provides (per child) to foster youth annually for clothing. This program ensures each foster youth in Yavapai County has funding for adequate clothing bi-annually. Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation spent $129,338 on this program in 2023.

4. Family Visitation Center: This program provides a safe, private, and homelike environment for biological families and foster youth to have supervised family visits. The Foundation has location in both Prescott Valley and in
