More than a meal, we Feed Clothe and Empower our neighbors in need in the Phoenix East Valley.
We help people struggling with hunger, poverty, and homelessness.
It all starts with a hot, nourishing meal that is served every night of the year at Paz de Cristo. A hot shower and clean clothing give our guests a fresh start. Believing that people need more than a meal to thrive, our Empowerment Services at Paz de Cristo is a slate of programming designed to provide clients with the tools and resources they need to overcome poverty. Services include coaching, skills training, navigation, employment assistance, and help securing benefits such as SNAP (formerly Food Stamps). We provide a lifeline of essential resources that help people get back on their feet.
Who are the people who come to Paz de Cristo Community Center? Veterans, working poor, seniors, and people experiencing homelessness. Last year, more than 13,000 unique individuals were served.
