Pei People Shar Pei Rescue Inc

Pei People is organized for the purpose of charitable rescuing of Shar Pei and Shar Pei mixes which are homeless or soon-to-be-homeless, including without limitation, those found in shelters or similar facilities and those released by their owners due to change in family circumstances, as well as Shar Pei which are being used as breeding stock by so-called puppy mills and backyard breeders.

Pei People dogs are usually in foster homes - private homes where families take care of the dogs (usually in addition to their own) until they can be adopted.

Some of our dogs are also in private kennels until a foster home opens up.

We do not have a "facility" or "shelter" to visit.
