Project C.U.R.E. identifies, solicits, collects, sorts and distributes medical supplies and services according to the imperative needs of the world. https://projectcure.org/surviving-covid

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by matching medical supplies and modern equipment with facilities in need to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Project C.U.R.E. operates distribution centers in Colorado, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Illinois, and Pennsylvania and receives donations of supplies and specialized equipment from hundreds of U.S. hospitals and medical manufacturers. Thanks to the dedication of 26,000 of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.'s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved facilities abroad to provide free care and train local healthcare staff. Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world's largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities across the globe, touching the lives of patients, families and children in more than 130 countries.

Testimonials

https://projectcure.org/surviving-covid

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting Project C.U.R.E., our partners, and local communities during this extraordinary crisis. As a leader in the global health arena for over 30 years, this pandemic is an unprecedented time for both our organization and the world. The need for action and intervention has never been more important. While our mission is typically focused on providing medical relief to people in developing countries, Project C.U.R.E. has received hundreds of urgent requests for supplies to fight the COVID19 virus from emergency medical services, hospitals, clinics, and assisted-living communities across the United States.

In response, Dr. Douglas Jackson, CEO has pivoted the resources of Project C.U.R.E. to focus on the catastrophe that threatens the health of people living in our local communities. We are making our substantial medical inventories of gloves, masks, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitizers available domestically, particularly in the regions where Project C.U.R.E. has operations: Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Nashville, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Kansas City.

To augment the supply over the past week, Project C.U.R.E. has conducted supply drives in Denver, Colorado Springs, Nashville, and Chicago. These efforts have provided nearly 50 pallets of donated medical supplies that are being distributed to health care systems within those communities. The Project C.U.R.E. distribution warehouse in Houston recently donated 1200 boxes of medical supplies from their warehouse inventory to local health care facilities and our volunteers are planning an upcoming PPE drive. Beyond the donations secured through the collection drives for local communities, Project C.U.R.E. has delivered 74 shipments of medical supplies and equipment throughout the United States as a part of the pivot to domestic support earlier this month. Similar drives are being planned for Kansas City and Phoenix, and one is already set for Houston this coming Wednesday.

On top of everything we are doing, we've also partnered with Seko Logistics for the Seko Cares initiative procuring new PPE to equip our brave health care workers and those on the frontlines. This essential PPE that we're getting will be shipped either to medical centers or to state-sponsored distribution centers, depending on what is allowed in each location. Initially focusing on the higher density areas of New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle, where the spread is exponential - but then widening our distribution to other locations as well.
