Rosie's House: A Music Academy for Children

Rosie's House puts youth on a path for college and long-term success.

Victoria first enrolled at Rosie's House when she was in 5th grade. During her 7 years studying flute at Rosie's House, she competed in and won the Great Performers Showcase, participated in Musicians Mentoring in Classrooms and performed with Musicians Active in the Community. In 2020, she graduated high school and enrolled at Arizona State University.

Today she is a Junior at Barret, the Honors College, at ASU, majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business. She continues to play flute and enjoys singing in the Barrett Choir ensemble. Victoria plans to attend medical school and become a doctor. Her advice and words of encouragement to current Rosie's House students is, "Keep on working hard and follow your dreams. Keep pursuing your passions and stay positive."

Rosie's House supports youth with free afterschool music lessons and a college-oriented culture. 100% of May 2023 Rosie's House students continued on to college studies this fall, supported by generous financial aid packages.
