Arizona Technology Council Foundation DBA SciTech Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and awareness in Arizona and beyond. Connections with nonprofit organizations, industry, and academia allow us to serve as the catalyst to align assets, grants, resources, and support for building a world-class community with an understanding of and appreciation for STEM. Through key statewide STEM initiatives that include the STEM Ecosystem, Arizona SciTech Festival, Chief Science Officers (CSO) program, Little Free Libraries, and Science For All, we help ready a knowledgeable, skilled STEM workforce.

PROGRAMS
STEM Ecosystem- This collaborative grassroots network of over 900 partners statewide includes educators, government leaders, and community organizers. SciTech Institute serves as the Ecosystem’s backbone organization, working with these entities to promote STEM awareness and career pathways, build leadership and employability skills, and develop a diverse community of qualified Arizonans entering higher education and the workforce.
Arizona SciTech Festival- This statewide celebration of STEM is held annually January-April. With over 1,000 expos, workshops, conversations, exhibitions, and tours, the AZ SciTech Festival educates and involves Arizonans of all ages about STEM as a driving force for our state’s future.
Chief Science Officers- Students in grades 6-12 are chosen to serve as STEM leaders and ambassadors in their schools and communities. Through their involvement in the program, CSOs can enhance their employability skills; join a global network of STEM leaders; prepare for college, careers, and civic engagement; and implement STEM Action Plans to raise awareness for the STEM causes they c
STEM Little Free Libraries- Community-driven book exchange hubs that promote the philosophy of “Take a book, return a book.” Through collaborations with AVNET and Cox, 300+ STEM-themed kits are put together and sent out monthly to rural Little Free Libraries throughout the state for kids and families to enjoy STEM exploration from the comfort of their own homes.
Science for All- This Arizona Certified Qualifying Charitable Organization supports access to STEM for everyone, with a particular focus on low-income and underserved populations. The goal is to transform lives by providing the STEM resources, education, tools, and training needed to be successful in an increasingly competitive workforce.
