Support CATALYST Summer Programming This AZ Gives Day!

CATALYST Creative Collective, powered by the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA), is Tucson’s hub for creativity and community impact. Year round, we bring the arts to life—hosting workshops, live music and dance performances, culinary and market experiences, fundraisers, and education programs that inspire thousands.

But we need your help to keep these programs thriving. Our goal: raise $5,000 to support local artists and nonprofits who make these experiences possible. Every dollar stays in Southern Arizona, directly funding artists, educators, and cultural programming that enriches our community.

Your donation isn’t just a gift—it’s an investment in creativity, connection, and the future of the arts in Tucson. 

Some of the programs that you will directly support in the summer of 2025 are:

Community Craft Closet

An open and inclusive fiber arts initiative designed to make textile-based arts accessible to all. Free drop-ins are offered twice per week to gather free materials, donate supplies, or enjoy live demonstrations of weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet, felting, and visible mending. Whether you’re a seasoned fiber artist or just getting started, this is a space to learn, create, and connect with others in a welcoming environment.

Amphi School District Student Art Show Reception

Each Spring the Tucson Mall’s corridors are filled with color and creativity courtesy of the children who attend schools in the Amphitheater School District. CATALYST will host a community reception on Thursday, April 24 for students and families that will include music and dance performances and a works by students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Community Mixers

SAACA and CATALYST regularly sponsors community mixers for artists to come together and share resources. This May, CATALYST will host Film Tucson and the Southern Arizona Film Society for their monthly mixer.
