About BASIS Peoria

BASIS Peoria is a tuition-free public charter school serving grades 5–12. With our accelerated curriculum, robust student support system, and variety of enriching extracurriculars, we empower students to achieve at globally competitive levels.


What Sets Us Apart

Our students engage in the world-class BASIS Charter School Curriculum, which fuels critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Classes are led by Subject Expert Teachers, many of whom hold advanced degrees. Our teachers design challenging and engaging lessons that appeal to different learning styles, and as a result, BASIS Charter School students achieve excellent academic outcomes and become self-motivated learners.

We believe all students can succeed when provided with an advanced curriculum and supportive, knowledgeable teachers to guide them through it. Our Subject Expert Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering lessons rich in content and insight, consistently extending their expertise and enthusiasm to maximize student comprehension and engagement.
