Fiber Arts Center Az

The Fiber Arts Center AZ is a non-profit fine arts organization promoting fiber arts and serving communities through education, exhibitions, and the honoring of cultural heritages.  Phoenix is the fifth largest city in the country.  Cities larger than Phoenix and many smaller in size have a space dedicated to the fiber arts with either a quilt museum, fiber art center or similar facility.

Our mission is to highlight all that is Fiber Art in Arizona.  Our focus is on contemporary work with respect to traditional and historical processes and materials.  Arizona has Fiber on our DNA with Cotton being one of the 5 C's, Native American contributions to basketry, rope and weavings, along with farming and ranching.

Funding for our education programs and exhibitions is critical for the work we do.
