We have an incredible opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of cats across Pima County. Thanks to a generous challenge from Bonnie Kay, every dollar donated will be matched up to $50,000, doubling the impact of your gift. Together, we can expand our lifesaving Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts and provide essential care to more cats in need.
Our TNR program is vital in improving the health and stability of our local cat population. While our semi-annual Snip 'n Tip events at PACC serve over 1,200 cats, the need for ongoing care continues. That's why the new Friends of PACC Community Pet Clinic, opening this March, will collaborate with Santa Cruz Veterinary Clinic to provide year-round TNR services, offering continuous support to Pima County's cats.
Why TNR Matters:
✔ Reduces overpopulation—stabilizing colony sizes over time
✔ Improves health—vaccinations prevent infectious diseases, and neutering reduces stress from mating and pregnancy
✔ Modifies behavior—less roaming, yowling, spraying, and fighting
✔ Promotes longer lifespans—cats in TNR colonies live healthier, happier lives
✔ Creates a humane solution—a data-proven alternative to outdated "catch and kill" practices
10 Key Benefits of TNR:
🐾 Population Control
🐾 Health Improvement
🐾 Behavior Modification
🐾 Reduced Nuisance
🐾 Cost-Effective Solution
🐾 Wildlife Protection
🐾 Humane Approach
🐾 Community Engagement
🐾 Educational Outreach
🐾 Strengthened Human-Animal Bond
By donating today, you'll help us rise to the challenge and transform the future of Pima County's cats. Your gift directly supports expanded TNR services, ensuring more cats receive the care they deserve!
